BTW I've also been in the shop selecting tonewood for #3. But how can I even try to keep up with you with my full time job, full time Uni study, the house renovation, and a three year old that needs her daddy. Not to mention all the time I spend here.

I had John Watkins do my headstock inlay. Clearly we all know him. Great
sponsor and dude!!!! He cut a bunch of sets for me and routed the
headstock plates as well. As I buy more zoot, I collect up all my headplates
and send them to him as a batch to rout

Hesh this looks like another beauty taking shape. I like the way you go about "kitting" your next build. Very idea. I think your really going to like the sound of that Italian spruce. Got more on the way.

I tried to get some of that curley mahog from the Zootman But I was too late.Beautiful zoot like that just goes so quick! Man,You are certainly knocking em out quickly Hesh. What do you use for dust collection with your Performax thicknesser??I think I read a while back that a shop vac just isn't enough for sander like yours.Is this correct Hesh?

I actually can't tell that it's stiff. It's the first top I've worked with in a long
time, so I don't have anything to compare it too, and I'm actually not sure
how to flex it. Bob picked out a piece that was stiff for me, so I'm taking
his word.

What are you thinking about for bindings? I bought my mahogany from
Bob after your posted your set, and you got your top after I mentioned
mine. I love it.

Hesh, I have a similar guitar planned. An OM or OO, (Martin, not Gibson L-OO) Brazilian bindings, backstrip, bridge and fretboard etc., all from the same BRW plank. Euro top I think. Maybe carpathian. Undecided on that part. I could go redwood...just not sure yet. My B&S set also came from the Zootman.

Have you guys seen the Brazilian Kingwood bindings? (Dalbergia Cearensis) Purplish brown and black stripes. Pretty stuff.

Hesh, I don't know if any of our sponsors have Kingwood B&S sets but we can usually get them over here, I believe Russell has bought it in the past. About $175 a set I believe, less for classical sized sets.
